Cy Young-Radio One, Life’s Choices interview

This interview is with Cy Young, Program Director for Radio One based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Young has been in radio for over three decades. He is an licensed, ordained minister and so much more. He speaks candidly with the Miracles of Life Film Group’s Director Of Photography, Ernest W Richardson, III about some of his life’s choices. We would like to thank Radio One and Mr. Young for this wonderful opportunity. A tid-bit about Cy, Who is THE REAL CY YOUNG? Cy Young has been in radio since 1980! He’s worked in Nashville, Tn, Washington DC and Raleigh, NC Since moving to Raleigh, Cy has worked primarily as a morning show host but has done successful stints in mid-days and afternoon drive. He is also the Operations Manager for Foxy 107/104, K-97.5 and The Light 103.9. Professionally, Cy has received TONS of radio industry honors and awards during his radio career including; Program Director/Operations Manager of the year, Announcer of the Year – Foxy Radio Station, Program Director of the Year – Billboard Magazine; Program Director of the Year; Tom Joyner Personality of the Year – Urban Network; Radio Personality of the Year – Black Radio Exclusive. He also has numerous community honors, awards, letters and commendations. Spiritually, he is a licensed and ordained minister in the Christian Faith. He loves serving Gods people.
